These sports also help in the complete development of a child in that they help in the training of self-discipline and concentration.

    Dance

Dance is a great form of physical activity that introduces fun elements in the process of being creative. Whether it is hip hop, ballet, jazz or contemporary dance classes are one of the best forms of exercise that tone the whole body and make you more flexible and coordinated.

    Outdoor Activities

Most of the gyms and community centres provide specific classes for teenagers encompassing yoga, pilates, kickboxing or Zumba. These classes are quite helpful in a way that one can introduce a new form of exercising and enjoy it by being motivated to exercise through group activities.

    Strength Training

Strength training also contributes to developing lean muscle mass and bone mass which is very essential during teen age.

    Running and Jogging

Running is one of the most practical forms of cardiovascular exercises that one can easily incorporate in his/her daily routine. Teens should begin with 5 K jogs in order to build up their distances, time as well as speed. It can be done alone or with friends and this is a good way of also setting individual fitness goals.

    Skateboarding and Rollerbladin

In a simple way to ensure that our teenagers engage in some form of physical exercise, skateboarding and rollerblading comes in handy for the teenagers who like to have something risky. These help in activities in balancing, coordination, and the agility of the system.

    Recreational Sports

Games such as frisbee, badmintons or ultimate frisbee can be played when in a group of friends or with family members. These sports are not as structured as the previous ones but there is a fair share of physical contact as well as social relations.
