    Preschool is the age that is considered from 3 to 5 years old and it can be characterized as early years of development.     It is advised that every child’s flu shot including those in preschool age to prevent cases of the seasonal flu.

    Hepatitis A and B Vaccines

    Based on the schedule embarked on in infancy, sometimes boosters in the form of Hepatitis A and B may be needed during the age of the preschool going child. A child’s immunization record must always be updated so that a parent can discuss with the pediatrician an update of the shots the child has undergone.


    Ideally, the preschool years are those that involve many discoveries and development, and it is crucial to pay much attention to the needs of the child concerning his/her proper nourishment and general well-being. With knowledge on the different diseases, regular doctor visits and compliance with immunization dates, you should be able to see your preschooler through these years healthy and strong. It is important to recall that each child is different and having a competent doctor to help you through these years means your child is going to get the best possible treatment.
